Please, could you use the save_y2logs command to get the system logs as explained at http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_YaST? The generated file will contain additional information that could be useful. Moreover, I would be interested in the output of running "snapper list" as root. And finally, could you run yast2 snapper with debugging enabled? Clicking shift+F7 before YaST2 crashes if you're using the graphical version should be enough.
