[Bug 905418] No audio/no sound when headphone is plugged in -- choosing "Headphones (unplugged)" in pavucontrol then works
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=905418 --- Comment #29 from Kristjan Ugrin <kristjan.ugrin@gmail.com> --- Lenovo T400 user again here. Today I've updated the system and found out I have pulseaudio 5.0-4.10.1. I have no sound from speakers, only from headphones if I plug them in. Log of connecting, disconnecting headphones from jack: --- D: [pulseaudio] module-alsa-card.c: Jack 'Headphone Jack' is now plugged in D: [pulseaudio] device-port.c: Setting port analog-output-speaker to status no D: [pulseaudio] module-switch-on-port-available.c: finding port analog-output-speaker W: [pulseaudio] module-alsa-card.c: Availability of port 'analog-output-headphones' is inconsistent! D: [pulseaudio] module-alsa-card.c: Jack 'Headphone Jack' is now unplugged D: [pulseaudio] device-port.c: Setting port analog-output-speaker to status unknown --- Applying Comment 22 suggestion by removing: [Jack Dock Headphone] required-any = any from /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-output-headphones.conf and speakers start working. At least after when I replug and unplug headphones. Again the log after this "fix" is much more lenghty as it was pointed out in comment 21 for version 5.0-4.2.4 I. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
