Where did you save "your" extension file? Did you modify the "system-wide" file or your own? If you modified the system-wide file /etc/mc/mc.ext: works as intended. I'd have to look into if a "(noreplace)" for that file makes sense or if we could add a system-wide "local" file (I doubt that though). If you modified your ~/.mc/bindings, that'd be a bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Run MC -> menu Command -> Edit extension file So this file I modified. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Have a look in your ~/.mc directory. I have updated mc rather often and my ~/.mc/bindings is rather old (apart from some tweaks it should be from somewhen around 2001) and was never touched by any updates of mc. Closing. Reopen if you can plausibly state that your ~/.mc/bindings was overwritten by the update. And add the exact version + release + repo info for both mc and oS. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
