https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=635357 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=635357#c0 Summary: Xorg uses 99% cpu after short period of inactivity with KDE 4.5 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: egd.free@gmail.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ru; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 I reproduce bug #584919 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584919 in my openSUSE 11.3. I use KDE 4.5.0 and X.Org Server 1.9.0. After reboot X consumes 1-2 % CPU, but after computer idle time (monitor shut-down), X starts to consume 20-50 % on a kernel. If to restart process plasma-desktop (kquitapp plasma-desktop && plasma-desktop), X again consumes 1-2 % before following idle time of the computer. The bug as is played back on the version X.Org Server 1.8.0. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
