It's from bpfilter_umh which is a userspace process forked by bpfilter.ko. Since it's a userspace process writing messages directly to /dev/console, no kernel parameter would affect it...
As a temporary workaround, you could just blacklist bpfilter. AFAIK, the userspace library for bpfilter is still under development, a normal user unlikely needs the module in the short term.
Can this be done as a distro default then? A proper fix is probably to either remove the message completely or write to /dev/kmsg instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The patch was merged into net-next, so it will be in the mainline sooner or later.

Awesome! Can this patch be added to the TW kernel? That would make JeOS openQA testing much more reliable (currently only every ~4th attempt works). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Would it be possible to add the patch in comment#4 to Kernel:stable?
Sure, just push it to your master/for-next branch with proper Patch-mainline/Git-repo/etc. tags. I will take it from there. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
