The card reader is integrated as well as the BT device and the WLAN card ( which is a combination of PCI / PCMCIA minicard carrying the PCMCIA WLAN card ) I think the card reader is USB, not PCI, at least it shows up in lsusb: Bus 002 Device 003: ID 044e:3002 Alps Electric Co., Ltd Bus 002 Device 002: ID 054c:0069 Sony Corp. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=253366 teheo@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Comment #8 from teheo@novell.com 2007-03-18 21:29 MST ------- Yeap, I was referring to the PCMCIA card which is an IDE CF adapter. Sorry about the confusion. There are many non-standard CFA devices and AFAIK not all are supported currently. It seems yours is one of those. I'm afraid we'll have to take this to upstream. Can you please get a vanilla 2.6.20.3 running on your machine and see whether the same problem exists (it's highly likely)? If so, please report dmesg including boot and the error, the result of lspci -nn, description of the PCMCIA device and how the error is triggered to linux-ide@vger.kernel.org and cc me. I'm resolving this bug entry as WONTFIX and will follow up in the mailing list. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=253366 ------- Comment #9 from casualprogrammer@yahoo.com 2007-03-19 03:37 MST ------- I will give it a try, in the meantime take note, that we are not addressing a conventional PCMCIA card here. It is just some kind of mechanic adapter ( no electronics ) to fit the pins from the memory card to the PCMCIA bus. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
