The system frequently locks up and freezes entirely. This seems to occur soon after booting (<10 min). If the system has been up for >60 min, I have not encountered problems. Lockup occurs only when initiating an action, such as starting the yast software management or applying changes to the org.freedesktop policies. Occasionally responsiveness returns after several minutes. On other occasions the lockup persists for >5 minutes, after which I have manually power cycled the system. The hard drive light can turn on and go off while frozen. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Separate actions that have caused lockup: 1) starting yast software management 2) applying changes to org.freedesktop NetworkManager policy settings under configure desktop Actual Results: The system freezes. There is no visible feedback from either the mouse or keyboard.
