[Bug 302219] New: IrDA dos'nt work on IBM 2366 notebook

Ok, next i tried manually (tty number is correct and irda switched ON in BIOS, i was check it! Port number 0x2F8, IRQ 3, DMA 3) vlatro:~#irattach /dev/ttyS1 -s but after this Ir port is not blinking (i tested this by didgtal fotocamera that can see infrared rays) and there is no irattach in processes table. There is a part of system journal: Aug 21 20:57:39 vlatro kernel: ttyS1: LSR safety check engaged! Aug 21 20:57:39 vlatro irattach: tcgetattr: Input/output error Aug 21 20:57:39 vlatro irattach: Stopping device /dev/ttyS1 Aug 21 20:57:39 vlatro irattach: ioctl(SIOGIFFLAGS): No such device Aug 21 20:57:39 vlatro irattach: exiting... In SuSE 10.0 all works correctly: port is blinking, irdadump snow that devicese is answer, all Ok. Downgrade to irda package from SuSE 10.0 distribution don't resolve problem too. A'm afraid that it's time to downgrade all system to SuSE 10.0... It works on other machines. Unfortunately i have no Thinkpad 2366 (T30) around and did not see the problem on other machines. Please check which irda kernel modules are loaded and if these cause the trouble.
