This sounds more like a feature request but ...
Given all of the subvolumes openSUSE/YaST/we make by default on every system all have defined mountpoints, I would argue that defining mountpoints for any additional subvolumes is something any user should expect to do. And given users can't do that, then I'd say the lack of mountpoints is a glaring bug, not a request for new features.
