I have found all of the nouveau modules with lsmod | grep nouveau and added them to /etc/modprobe.d/50-blacklist.conf, but this has had no effect. The nouveau modules are still loaded after every reboot. Even after manually loading the nvidia driver with modprobe nvidia, it appears that the nouveau driver is still controlling my gfx card.
