[Bug 369281] New: Sound disabled after installation
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=369281 Summary: Sound disabled after installation Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: f.de.kruijf@hetnet.nl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I have a nVidia Corporation MCP67 High Definition Audio (rev a1) in my Acer laptop. This soundcard needs alsa >= 1.0.15; makes it work in openSUSE 10.3. So installing alsa-1.0.16-7 should make it work. However apparently by default the sound is muted and Master and PCM has to be moved up before any sound is heard. In my view the default should be that the sound works, can be heard. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
