It's the system scanning the media to see if it's mountable. DVDs work because they contain a file system. Music CDs don't because you don't read them in the same way. I see the same things on my system, but programs like grip work just fine. Even so, I'll assign to Tejun as a low priority thing. If there's a way to recognize that it's an audio CD and not print those messages, that would be more user friendly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

On openSUSE 11.0, nautilus displayed an audio CD icon on the desktop when a audio CD is inserted. On 11.1, there is no such icon. Also, grip doesn't work at all on my 11.1 system, nor do any other audio CD applications such as 'CD Player' and Brasero. So, IMHO this is a little more than just a cosmetic warning message issue since we can't play audio CDs at all by any means possible. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
