User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 After a period of inactivity it seems that the Turbo mode is not kicking in. It has been found as a bug in i915 driver code and has been fixed in the upstream kernel.org in the following commit - https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=9... commit-id - 9104183dad6314c55344d65738cd719b909a3e0a - drm/i915: Periodically sanity check power management It is requested that this patch is pulled into SLES 11 SP2 kernel tree to solve the bug it describes. This will affect all Gen6+ devices. We have reproduced this on Ivubridge systems. This commit will not apply cleanly on SLES 11 SP2 kernel and back-ported version is attached. Reproducible: Always The back-ported patch has been verified on 3.0.13 and should also cleanly apply and work on 3.0.42 kernel -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
