I had some addons installed in my firefox setup, e.g. "it's all text" "adblock", "dominspector" after updating to 11.0, those addons don't work anymore ("not compatible with firefox 3.0b5"). the "find updates" button in firefox loads new addon versions but installation fails with this error ----------------------------------------------------------- Firefox could not install the file at http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/4125/it_s_all_text!-0.8.4... because: Unexpected installation error Review the Error Console log for more details. -203 ----------------------------------------------------------- even restarting firefox doesn't help :-( how do I get working addons in firefox ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

how do I get working addons in firefox ?

correct, it's the same error console output. I've removed the extensions directory, and now I'm able to (re)install the addons into my old profile... correct, it's the same error console output.
If you like you can test the new firefox packages from mozilla:beta. They contain a patch which hopefully fix that issue.
questions remaining (for me, maybe you know):
- how can I get a (text) list of the installed addons ? window screen shots of the addons-scroll-list is no fun and

It should. As long as you check %{_libdir}/firefox/extensions as well.
