A portion of the message on the console is as follows: /usr/lib/YaST2/startup/YaST2.call: line 288: 3109 Killed I was unable to recapture any more of the info as it does not stay on the screen very long. The CD is OK. I was able to install 11.2 RC1 on another system with a Turion 64 X2 CPU using the same disk. Note: The NET install is the only way to install 11.2 on an i586. With this failure, I will not be able to install 11.2 on this machine. If it is failing due to lack of memory, it is a strange way to report that failure. The problem definitely is the memory size. Is it possible for the system to attempt to mount the existing swap partition? It still fails with 128, but that is OK. Is it possible for the NET install CD to autoselect text mode if the system has less than 512 MB?
