https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446919 Summary: Flash plugin support for firefox on opensuse 11.1 x86_64 Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: eclay@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Consulting I have tried downloading and installing the adobe flashplugin with no success. I have also attempted to install swfdec-browser-plugin. When I launch firefox and put about:plugins in the address line and I only see the swfdec-browser-plugin not adobe flash plugin. Currently have the following flash related rpm installed flash-player libflashsupport libflashsupport-32bit libswfdec-gtk2-90 libswfdec90 pullin-flash-player swfdec swfdec-browser-plugin Is their a working plugin for opensuse11.1 beta5 that will work with Novell's innerweb.novell.com? The flash plugin only exists as 32bit and firefox 64bit can not execute those. nspluginwrapper takes care of this and is executing the plugin. From other reports it was apparent that you'll also have to install libcurl-32bit for the installation with nspluginwrapper to work correctly. As a solution for the bug: maybe a '64bit RPM' having a Requires: nspluginwrapper could help avoid this confusion. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I was not able to get option "b" to work but was able to install the adobe 10 plugins and it worked. http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html Thanks -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
