They can be added manually, either during installation or afterwards, but this requires more knowledge than we should assume users have. This was touched on in bug #374693 but was not the subject of that bug, neither was it fixed... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Neither the installation nor YaST2 report any error, but running lilo in a shell flags an error "Warning: macos: image = : No such file or directory" seemingly for any image name. It still seems to generate / update yaboot.conf etc. though. "man lilo" and "man lilo.conf" suggest that the OS-X partition must be named "macos" or possibly "macosx". My OS-X partition (per pfdisk) has label "OSX" - tried all of these & more besides with the same form of error. This has missed the GM pressing now, so can't readily be included in the default user documentation - but I think it ought to go in as a 'most annoying bug', especially as it will tend to bite people new to Linux and OpenSuSE hardest. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

LILO also support to add other installed OS to boot menu but for MAC is used POWERLILO not LILO. BTW. LILO is not supported any more. Finally there missing code for adding other installed OS in POWERLILO. I hope it is clear now. I am sorry but there are a lot of bugs for bootloader and I prefer to solve existing problems instead of adding new functionality. Please send patch or create fate request. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
