I am using KDE and still on openSUSE 13.2 also I can't reproduce this, but I may just not get it right. What do you mean by "hold arrow"? Not sure if this is a packaging problem or should be reported to Inkscape upstream instead. I am not a Gtk+ developer, just a hobbyist maintainer at openSUSE.
Oh sorry! - I had the impression that you were part of upstream inkscape, I must have mixed you with someone else :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

What do you mean by "hold arrow"?
There is a number field with up+down arrows to select the number of corners of the to-be-created polygon. I mean, you should click to change the number up to 1024 and maybe double or triple click or hold on these up/down fields a bit more. Usually takes me ~10 clicks and ~10 seconds to trigger the crash with that. Yes, it could be an upstream problem, but then I am not sure, if it would be gtk or inkscape's upstream and how to best work with them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
