Well, in my case xtables-addons didn't work anymore, because the symlinks to the xtables-addons-kmp-default modules from kernel-4.1.12 were somehow not recreated when the kernel was updated. As a consequence, the firewall failed to load (because rules that used '-m geoip' were not accepted anymore).
Which package is responsible for creating the symlinks to the older modules when a new kernel is installed?
It's suse-module-tools. But the likely cause is usually some overlooked kABI incompatibility. So, just open the new bug entry with component Kernel. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
