Seems to be a DUP of bug 996848
I had same idea but comment#6 shows that configuration file really do not contain this splash=silent keyword. So it is properly removed ( I think that fixed grub2 is already in 42.2 and SP2 ). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
