I did however create encrypted home and swap partitions while doing the install process during 10.3. On bootup under normal 10.3 I am prompted for the password for the /home partition but not for a swap password. Under the Opensuse 11 install, because I had to go back into the partitioner after install and "remount" everything after specifying it was encrypted (and letting it install pam_mount and a few other packages via internet) when it boots up I am asked for a password for both /home and also for the swap partition...entering anything on the swap partition prompt...even hitting enter will work but I shouldn't be getting prompted for swap. The system then tries to create a new user account in the /home mountpoint which confuses the issue further because the real /home was not mounted. The correct solution would be to install pam_mount as part of the HD install via internet if any of the partitions are encrypted. Expecting the user to know they need to add a repository and install pam_mount before clicking on the "install" icon is unrealistic.
