This happens at the beginning of the installation, right after the X process is running and yast starts to probe the mouse. I can not always reproduce this. So far I have seen it on the powerbook g4 3 times and today on my g5. I noticed that the timezone is UTC before yast starts, and once yast is running, the timezone is EST. Maybe X gets confused by this event?
