[Bug 396185] New: KDE Display System Settings Shows Incorrect Refresh Rate
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=396185 Summary: KDE Display System Settings Shows Incorrect Refresh Rate Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: ahowarth@iinet.net.au QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer The KDE display area of the systems settings utility reports the wrong refresh rate as being currently active. It claims my refresh rate is 50hz, when in fact the actual refresh rate my CRT monitor (Sony CPD-G520) is actually displaying is 85hz. Also, the KDE drop down list that shows other refresh rates fails to show the actual refresh rates my CRT can show. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I can see NVIDIA hacked it as a workaround. As I dont have multiple monitors I put the Option "DynamicTwinView" "False" in my xorg.conf and it now correctly reports the refersh rate. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
