System: Lenovo Thinkpad T60 (Model 2007FUG) Kernel: 2.6.31-rc8-5-default Observations: - 'Checking/updating CPU microcode' takes 1-2 minutes(!) to complete - Booting to runlevel 3 lets me enter some charaters at the 'login' prompt.
