[Bug 1153148] New: VPN via NetworkManager and fortisslvpn fails
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1153148 Bug ID: 1153148 Summary: VPN via NetworkManager and fortisslvpn fails Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: sb@informatik.uni-kiel.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I have installed openfortivpn (1.9.0-lp151.1.1, Main repository) and plasma-nm5-fortisslvpn (5.12.8-lp151.1.1, Main repository). If I try to establish a connection to my University's VPN ("CAU") by clicking on the connection I have configured via the Plasma plugin, nothing happens. A look at /var/log/NetworkManager reveals the error message 2019-10-06T16:22:28.780430+02:00 gandalf2018 NetworkManager[1439]: <info> [1570371748.7802] audit: op="connection-activate" uuid="7a096f0a-4f8d-4368-964a-2e2452df242f" name="CAU" pid=2120 uid=1000 result="fail" reason="The VPN service 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.fortisslvpn' was not installed." Is there a dependency missing in the plasma-nm5-fortisslvpn package? Running openfortivpn directly works without any problems. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
