[Bug 542477] New: kde4's logout effect does not work with 11.2 + intel, did with 11.1
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=542477 Summary: kde4's logout effect does not work with 11.2 + intel, did with 11.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-132.4 Firefox/3.5.3 When logging out of KDE the background turns black instead of dimming. This works with 11.1 but not with 11.2, so it seems to be a genuine graphics driver/server issue and not a KDE bug. My netbook is an MSI Wind which features a GMA 950. To reproduce just enable composite and press CTRL+ALT+DEL to trigger the logout effect. Halting/restarting via the menu has the same effect. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
