http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1017681 Bug ID: 1017681 Summary: Several "PIM" KDE suite applications create empty configuration folders in ~/ Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: itaranto7@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After launching several of the kdepim applications, empty directories are created in the home folder although the rc files are being created in ~/.config/ and the data files in ~/.local/share/ which is the correct. For example, after launching kontact the following folders/files are created ~/.kontact/ ~/.config/kontactrc ~/.local/share/kontact/ The same happens with kmail2, contactthemeeditor, contactprintthemeeditor, QtWebEngineProcess (~/.QtWebEngineProcess/ empty dir). It does not happen with korganizer and kaddressbook. I know it's probably an upstream bug, but I didn't know which section of KDE's bugzila is the correct place to report it. Running Leap 42.2 with default KDE plasma and applications. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
