However, a deadlock could happen when using gcin as my input method: - gnome-shell(gcin-immodule, actually) waited the reply from gcin on gcin-im-client.cpp:703 handle_read() - gcin waited on eve.cpp: 1619 is_tip_window() for the WindowAttribute. Removing is_tip_window() fixes the deadlock.
