http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1051867 Bug ID: 1051867 Summary: randomly, windows are not refreshed and remain unreadable until either the cursor has been dragged through or the window is resized. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: Crb999@btinternet.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build Identifier: Window or popups are often illegible until either the cursor has been dragged through or the window is resized. Popups can be submenus or help windows. I can't make it happen but it happens often. I cannot use 'Spectacle' to capture, as its use clears the problem. I have opened an X-term and its window looks like a tv screen with no input signal, just full of horizontal coloured lines. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Resizing a window can cause it 2.Opening a window can cause it 3.Opening a help screen can cause it Actual Results: One in ten times, a problem occurs. Simply passing the cursor through the command headers will reveal them but the main body of the window is not revealed in the same way although 'Selecting' in that window clears the selected area and makes it readable. I have pictures but cannot see how to attach them to this report. I shall explore the options after I've posted. Using Firefox, I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time by right clicking a link. The resulting window is always obscured but not in colour. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
