Here are, IIUC, the modules which that patch would have updated: S | Repository | Name | Current Version | Available Version | Arch --+-------------------------+--------------------------------+-------------------+-------------------+------- v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-data | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | noarch v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-immodule-amharic-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-immodule-inuktitut-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-immodule-thai-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-immodule-vietnamese-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-immodule-xim-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-tools | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 v | Leap-42.1-Update-Test | gtk2-tools-32bit | 2.24.30-8.3 | 2.24.31-11.1 | x86_64 Of all these, only the first one was a noarch module, but AFAICT none of them were upgraded. No other version available for gtk2-engine-thinice and gtk2-engine-thinice-32bit. Must I uninstall them (which "might" require deinstallation of the packages listed here at top), or will there be a corrected patch? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I forgot to thank you Tony!
Thanks a lot for running with testing updates enabled, so we can catch such issues before they hit the "rest of the world".
No problem. I'm doing this since the time when (on some earlier openSUSE release) a bug which crashed Firefox at startup and was fixed upstream (was it an X11 bug or a GTK/Gnome bug?), took months to progress to the plain Update repository. You can't believe how angry I was — until someone pointed out to me that the fix was available at Update-Test.
Please do report any future problems like you did now.
Of course. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Fixed, should appear in test repos soon.
AFAICT, patch 5622 and the "2.24.31" versions of gtk2 modules have disappeared. Considering that this was supposed to be a "security" update, I suppose it will resurface in a different form. It is now high time for me to go to bed but I'll check again over the weekend. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The patch has reappeared, with 41 packages and no conflicts => VERIFIED.
41 packages to update, of course. I counted neither i586 packages, nor x86_64 and/or noarch packages not installed here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
