Once this is enabled, Dolphin freezes. So there is light at the end of that long tunnel named KDE 4.x :) Since this issue heavily affects productive usage of the KDE 4.1 desktop in every day networked life, I'd be very very very happy to see this patch incorporated in the factory distribution so that I will have it with 11.0 already, until 11.1 hits the market. Changing from tree view to icons to details or enabling/disabling preview always hangs Dolphin when this is done on a mounted samba share. This is 100% reproducible.
