[Bug 662353] New: tvbrowser-2.7.5-1.3 no network connection with kernel 2.6.37-rc8.29.1
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=662353 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=662353#c0 Summary: tvbrowser-2.7.5-1.3 no network connection with kernel 2.6.37-rc8.29.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dibro@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/8.0.552.224 Safari/534.10 I'm using the actual RC-test-kernel from Kernel:HEAD/openSUSE_11.3. Everything is fine, but tvbrowser says that there is no network connection. But other network and internet applications are working excellent. This doesn't happen with the standard kernel 2.6.34.7-0.7, where tvbrowser is working normal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. Install tvbrowser-2.7.5-1.3 and set up some TV programs under the standard kernel-2.6.34.7-0.7 1. Install kernel-2.6.37-rc8.29.1 (or other 'test_kernel-of-the-day') 2. reboot & login 3. start tvbrowser-2.7.5-1.3 (and download/update TV program information manually) Actual Results: tvbrowser isn't able to get TV program informations. It says "wait blabla..." but nothing happens. Expected Results: Update of TV program informations will happen. Can't say whether this is a kernel or tvbrowser issue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you retry with the latest kernel? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
