After upgrading to openSuSE 12.2 this no longer works: Changing the "Evdev Axis Inversion" from 0 0 (normal) to 1 1 (upside-down) no longer has any effect: When in "tablet" mode, using my finger to move the pointer always works inverted: If I point to the left lower corner with my finger, the pointer appears at the upper right corner. Changing the values for "Axis Inversion" shows no effect, but also no error indication; querying the state using "xinput --list-props <Touchscreen device>" shows the currently configured values (0 0, or 1 1) but this seems now to have no effect whatsoever. Testing the overall access to the touchscreen, enabling or disableing the touchscreen using xinput works, so the genral functionality seems OK. Also mouse and touchpad work OK in both labtop and tablet mode, ie their axis inversion works (?). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSuSE 12.2 on ASUS T101MT (KDE) 2. run "xrandr -o 2" to change the display to upside-down 3. run "xinput --set-int-prop <touchscreen dev> "Evdev Axis Inversion" 8 1 1 4. Turn screen, ie go from labtop to tablet mode 5. Move pointer using the finger; pointer always moves in the opposite direction of finger I believe this is a problem of the X11 server, and might be linked to PR 779322 which reports problems with evdev and mouse wheel.
