Although this can be entered in the YAST2 network configuration, it does not always "stick". To fix this, I have to enter the default route by hand and not use YAST. This occurred in 10.3 as well. I currently have two network cards (eth0 and eth1) but it also happened under 10.3 when using only a single card.
