Some of us faced a keyboard layout problem when using Xvnc. (see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400520, especially my comment #14). Stefan Dirsch advised us to work around this problem by adjusting the keyboard maps by setxkbmap. That worked fine, and then I wanted to make a more comfortable workarond by KDE keybouard layout management. And despite the fact that KDE keyboard layout management seems to be a frontend to setxkbmap, it didn't work. Does it give the correct commandline options to setxkbmap (see attached images later)? How can I read back from the X server the changes made by setxkbmap? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: See above. Actual Results: Workaround doesn't work. Expected Results: I don't know. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
