First, it requires libzypp >= 14.7.0 (13.1 comes with 13.8.4). But even after upgrading libzypp and dependencies to the versions from zypp:Head (and switching the whole YaST to YaST:Head as a consequence), and installing your libqdialogsolver1, I still get the same error: "Package libqdialogsolver is required for this feature." libqdialogsolver1-1.3.2 works fine on 12.3 (except for that soname issue) and 13.1 though. And it does work now with the 13.1 version of YaST. I tried with 12.3 as well, but that still has libyui4, so I had to rename the lib to libyui-qt_zypp_solver_dialog.so.4 (or create a symlink). But then it worked there as well. And I guess that was the problem in my last try as well (comment#17): YaST:Head already has libyui6, so the plugin filename was incorrect. With libyui-qt_zypp_solver_dialog.so.6 it might have worked. So, to sum up: your patch does work, but only for 13.1. But shouldn't it be this in git? SET_TARGET_PROPERTIES( yui-qt_zypp_solver_dialog PROPERTIES SOVERSION 6 ) The latest libyui is version 6 (already in Factory), so if you set this to 5 it still won't work in Factory/13.2 (or with YaST:Head). Regarding an update for 12.3/13.1: I can take care of that if you want to.
