Someone is hacking/cracking ? I would sniff the packets with the wireshark or kismet [1] to see if there are really any nasty packets in the air. I have a bridge br0 configured, controlling eth0, eth1 and wlan0, sorry for any confusion I caused by omitting that :-(
I can imagine to receive on eth1 packet send from eth0 if the switch is not aware of the bond. But how can a packet with your address land on wlan0 ? I think you got only 1 wlan interface. Could you provide more info about the topology ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Programmer <casualprogrammer@gmail.com> 2009-10-19 10:54:46 MDT --- Well, there's not much there I'm afraid. WDShareSpace <---> eth1 | nothing connected yet <---> eth0 | Bridge br0 on MyWorkstation Internet <---> Fritz!Box <---> wlan0 | ^ Local Network <---| The other workstations of the local network are paricipating via WLAN, WDShareSpace is a Western Digital NAS 3TB Raid5 Linux Box accessible by all local network members. eth1 is a realtek 1GB card, eth0 is an Intel 100/10 MB onboard NIC, wlan0 is an onboard Intel iwl3945 wireless NIC. The bridge is operating in DHCP client mode (192.168.178.22) The AP is acting as DHCP Server (192.168.178.1) The participating NICs have fixed ip (0.0.0.0) and netmask (255.255.255.255) Not sure what else might be helpful, please advise. The message occurs for several hours, then goes away, then reappears for another couple of hours. I haven't got around to capture any packets yet. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

From booting to reconfiguration the message was there, now it's gone. For good measure will run with this configuration for two days and report back.

Reports against openSUSE 11.4 and prior will not get the attention needed to resolve them before openSUSE 12.2 is release and openSUSE 11.4 becomes unmaintained. Please re-test with openSUSE 12.1 or openSUSE RC2+ and re-open with an updated Product if you still encounter your issue. We apologize for this issue not getting the attention it deserves but we are focusing our resources in the area where they will have the most impact for our users. We're working hard to make openSUSE 12.2 the best openSUSE release yet! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
