[Bug 1018271] New: yast lan does not support dsa interfaces (switch ports)
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1018271 Bug ID: 1018271 Summary: yast lan does not support dsa interfaces (switch ports) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: armv7 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: afaerber@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com CC: michal.hrusecky@opensuse.org Found By: --- Blocker: --- Testing a kernel DT patch for the Turris Omnia router, https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9495493/ I have found that `yast lan` shows only eth0, eth1, eth2 interfaces for configuration, but not the individual port interfaces of the switch chip as exposed by the kernel's dynamic switch architecture (dsa). According to the above link, IP configuration or bridging should be done on the lan0@eth1 level, not eth1, but those sub-interfaces are not offered in YaST. It I manually create an ifcfg-lan0 config file, its settings are applied. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

But it appears as a netcard with hwinfo --netcard?
No, only eth0, eth1, and eth2 show with hwinfo --netcard. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
