This behavior exist both on openSUSE 12.3 and 13.1. The only way is to reboot the system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. cryptsetup luksOpen <volume> crypt 2. mount /dev/mapper/crypt /mnt 3. umount /dev/mapper/crypt 4. cryptsetup luksClose -v /dev/mapper/crypt Actual Results: device-mapper: remove ioctl on crypt failed: Device or resource busy Expected Results: Command successful.
