So severity can be lowered, but still a bug if it does not work with IPv6 disabled? I always disable IPv6 when I install openSUSE. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

In your deployment that argument could be made, but really it's that you're refusing to load one of the modules that bonding depends on. Does echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6 work as expected when you allow the ipv6 module to be loaded? In 11.3, CONFIG_IPV6=y and it's disabled in a different way so this issue won't exist there. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Does echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6 work as expected when you allow the ipv6 module to be loaded? Yes it works. But does not work from sysctl.conf
Maybe I need to patch boot.ipconfig to run all net.ipv6 sysctl after modprobe ipv6 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
