[Bug 393084] New: lvm based partitions don't display filesystem type
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=393084 Summary: lvm based partitions don't display filesystem type Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: security@merit.unu.edu QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Hi, When using a partition based install, the choosen filesystem is displayed behind the partition name in brackets, like: /var (xfs) (like it always has) In an LVM based partition, the selected filesystem type is shown nowhere, not even when selecting 'show details'. You need to 'edit' ('open') a partition to see what it will be formatted as. I would like to see LVM behave like regular partitions: display the fs type in brackets behind the lvm partition name. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
