I use openSUSE 10.3 (i586) Alpha4plus with kernel-2.6.22-rc2-git7-2-default. Now I try to mount an iso file I see this error:
mount: could not find any device /dev/loop Regards

I was able to mount an iso image using this command: mount -t iso9660 -o loop IMAGE.img DIRECTORY Please retest it and if it still doesn't work for you, attach your /var/log/messages and output of dmesg.
