Value Dell OEM sound card, models SB0200 and SB0203, using the EMU10K1X chip, cause any multimedia application (such as Amarok) or flash web site where the audio plays back way too fast. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Amarok. 2.Play any mp3 file, playback is too fast. 3.Open Firefox. 4. Navigate to YouTube, play any file, audio playback too fast, video tries to follow as well. Actual Results: Playback of any audio is too fast. Is this a regression, i.e. did it work with older kernels or distro versions?
Are you using PulseAudio as backend?
Is this a regression? No, OpenSuse 11.2 worked fine with the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! Value Dell EMU10K1X. As for other distros, not certain, haven't installed another distro. Are you using PulseAudio as backend? I do not see any reference to OBS in the 11.3 kernel repo or the sub-folders.
