[Bug 509492] New: Firmware files missing?

I'm not sure if that data is supposed to be correct but in case it is: there are a number of inconsistencies (list below). Is this something to worry about? Did you check the linux-firmware package? Most of them should be there, with the exception of the iwlwifi stuff. I can not find these firmware files anywhere as part of the kernel tree, so I do not know where to find them, or what the distribution license for them are (hint, I think the b43 firmware can not be legally distributed). So I don't see how this is a kernel bug, the kernel is just asking for these firmware files to be present in order for the driver to be used. It is up to a different package to provide those firmware files. If they are not part of the kernel-firmware package, then I don't know where they are, sorry.
