It could also have to do with the system condition when the installer is launched, and so gtk initialized... (maybe just some variable like the language only being set afterwards...) This used to work before (I am pretty sure), so we should first settle whether this is Svetlin specific. I tried to run the Beta1 installer, but it errored out. Can you guys get someone to check this out? I also think you should assign this to the installer guy. This seems like out of my jurisdiction now. By the way, it's cool you use gtk for the live-installer, but I'm not sure it makes much sense to use it for the 2nd run DVD installer. It must be pretty weird for the user to see such a different look to the installer... (I know that you can't use yast2-qt then, since the user chose Gnome, just saying.
