[Bug 225651] New: Support for GFS
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225651 Summary: Support for GFS Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hwit@a-domani.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Obviously, the 2.6.19 kernel will not make it in the GM! (afaik, rc1 uses 2.6.18-2) However, this kernel officially supports GFS. Is it possible to bump-up the priority of the newest kernel, and have a quick kernel-update? Or is a kernel-upgrade not feasable at this moment. My colleges are hoping that GFS-support wil not be postponed till 10.3... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

This will have to wait until 10.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

A short audit yielded changes to struct inode and additions to the configfs API. There are probably more, but these are enough to say it's a no-go. Closing WONTFIX. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
