After the disk got burned it got ejected and then inserted again and the verification process started. After some seconds however it finished with an Error message saying that the image is differing the burned CD. A manual comparism of the md5sum for image and CD showed however that the md5sums indeed are identical which leads to the conclusion that k3b's verifiy function is broken. Howto repeat: Burn an image to CD having the "verify" option enabled. Watch the error message upon the verification.
