[Bug 450483] New: KDE4 krdc in menus, but rdesktop package not installed
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=450483 Summary: KDE4 krdc in menus, but rdesktop package not installed Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: novell@sysman.open4free.co.uk QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User KDE4 menus by default includes: Applications > System > Remote Access > Remote Desktop Client However, the rdesktop package that Remote Desktop Client (krdc) relies on, is not installed by default. This has been going on for many releases now & about time it was addressed. My preference is for rdesktop to be there as well as krdc (i.e. not to just remove krdc!). I assume rdesktop is not on the Live CD that you installed from. PackageKit could allow us to prompt to install rdesktop when it is run though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
