http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559426 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559426#c0 Summary: webYaST UI: EULA - several issues Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: WebYaST AssignedTo: kkaempf@novell.com ReportedBy: mschmidkunz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- There are several issues concerning the EULA UI during first start of webYaST: 1. Heading: instead of "Accept End User Licence Agreement - SLES-11" we should use a non-technical language such as "License Terms" 2. Available translations: |en v| should be more friendly and the language abbrevation should be written out (maybe the combo box from language selection can be reused). So the suggestion would be: "Show license terms in |English v| 3. Spacing: Increase white space between navigation buttons and agree/disagree radio buttons to allow and ease spacial coding/grouping of elements. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Obvioulsly the term "SLES" was added to make a distinction between "SLES EULA" and "Appliance EULA". Nonetheless neither of the terms is commonly used :-( What about using "Licence Terms of the Operating System" and "License Terms of Basic Programms" or something similar? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

We anticipate an appliance user to (have to) accept two licenses 1. base operating system (i.e. SLE or Jeos) 2. vendor application The translation combobox should be removed since the browser indicates the preferred language.
