[Bug 664083] New: KPackageKit naming clash with sw_single
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664083 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664083#c0 Summary: KPackageKit naming clash with sw_single Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Milestone 5 of 6 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: martin.schlander@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; da) Presto/2.7.62 Version/11.00 In systemsettings the KPackageKit KCM appears under the name "Software Management" which is identical with sw_single in YaST control center. This is likely to confuse some people. KPK kcm should be renamed, and the new name localized via opensuse i18n. Not sure what would be a better name for it, maybe simply "KPackageKit Settings" or similar. However the functionally of kpackagit/apper when accessed via the KCM seems to have changed a lot as far as I remember. Do you still think the name should change and if yes do you have a good suggestion? Maybe just "Apper" or "Apper Software Management" or such could work. Dunno if it's worth it keeping such bugs open or even reporting them in the first place though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

We only have to make sure that the changed pot file gets to the translators. As I have no idea how this works, I put it as a topic for the meeting. But I guess this bug can be closed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
